Project

It was developed a new type of plug-in-oriented facility management system for security purposes, based on OSGi. The used OSGi technologies enables a modular integration of different building devices from different manufacturers and enables a unified management and visualization on one screen. The client application of the system use the comfortable user interface of the Eclipse Rich Client Platform. The result is a flexible software solution for a widely field of applications, from the detection of industrial and office buildings up to private houses with touch-screen operation ranges. Major benefits of the solution are to place context-sensitive information and to automate of processes within the facility.
