products with the mobile phone.
Furthermore for the inventory, acquisition of machine run times or for the identification of objects such as vehicles, containers
or clothing.
Service-oriented enterprises in telecommunications or IT industry can expand their value added services. So, the code contains
a reference e.g. to a homepage or to special product information.
The software can be helpful for libraries or video stores during the inventory of books or media, the same applies for example
if handling with value articles.
In the future the paper of
E-tickets for the cinema or theatre is being replaced by the mobile phone with the
code. The user take a picture with the mobile phone of the code, indicated on the
computer screen, and with ixMAT decoded at the counter.
